Shooting Medium Format at Venice Beach (Mamiya RZ67, Kodak Portra 400)
Went out to get some fresh air and decided to take my Mamiya RZ67 to Venice Beach and get some shots up. I'm in love with Medium Format. Using Kodak Portra 400 of course.

Damn that's cool man, keep it up
"Diversity" crazy that means exclusively black to yall
Is that MF Doom in the background? I love that beat
@@Misfit.Profit yessir. Love Doom
I don’t see the practicality of using a real film. That look can be replicated photoshop.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree.

Thank you 🙏🏾
Nice
Thank you!

Brilliant video, I enjoyed watching I need to try some BW photography with my film cameras. I've added your channel, hopefully you'll connect with a drone pilot and retro 35mm film photographer?
On beat with the snap shot 👌🏼

My Canon AE-1 stops shooting at 5°C. Is that normal?
I have no clue. It wasn’t that cold
How the film was converted into digital
i love santa monica
No thank you for getting straight to the point!!
I like your videos a lot!
I really liked these photos, love how the sekor lens compresses the colors and in combination with portra gives those great textures too! Finally someone who uses the Mamiya to take photos that doesn't look from an Iphone.
dopeee shots. used to work in the area, nice to see your view of it.
How do you digitized your film?
Espon v500 (hella old) scanner
Very nostalgic feel to the pics, nice one!

These photos are stunning!
Thank you!
I may be a little late, but could you make a video like this, but instead at night? I want to get this camera but I want to make sure I know how the photos will look if I take them in the dark with a flash on.
How much edit did you do on these? The colours don't seem to be as saturated as the ones Ektar usually produces
Beautiful!!
did you shoot it at box speed? any pushing, individual overexposing of shots ?
box speed
Great stuff! Did you over expose them at all? However you metered them they came out stunning!
thanks! no over exposed shots as the ae-1 has a meter
Hey man, about to pick up some ilford hp5. In these photos were you shooting at the correct ISO or were you +/- a stop? These look more exposed than normal.
T. S This was the correct iso
